I design systems, not just screens.
For the past seven years I've built design infrastructure that lets product teams move fast without losing consistency — most recently at Dayforce, where I took the Everest design system from zero to serving 30+ product teams. The measure of it working: eight product areas modernized simultaneously in five months. Before that, Loblaw Digital — one global, white-label system across 13 grocery brands.
A big part of the work is also bringing other designers along — helping them think in systems, see the value of shared patterns, and get genuinely excited about contributing to something bigger than their own product area. What I know for sure: the best design systems don't get adopted because they're well-built. They get adopted because people trust them — and building that trust is just as much the job.
