The info model is based on the entire book, Subculture, by David Hebdige. The goal was to efficiently summrize the entire book in one page format. There was a lot of information to cram, and the info model came out nicely, maintaining all the important information from the book, yet not overwhemling the reader. The info model is a practice of communication design, focusing on information readability, legibility, and overall esthetics.
